Model the Falcon 8X in SolidWorks
An eleven-lesson video course that takes you from three reference views to a complete solid model of a business jet: fuselage, wing, engines, tail, windows, control surfaces and livery, built step by step.
Note: lessons have no voice-over. They are designed so you can model along without it.

What you will build
The whole aircraft, in the order you would model it on a real project. Each lesson picks up where the last one ended, so by the end you have one finished solid model rather than a folder of disconnected exercises.
Along the way you learn a modelling workflow that transfers to other aircraft: setting up reference views, sketches and guide curves, lofts, and blending parts into each other cleanly.
Who it is for
- Aerospace and mechanical students who want a portfolio-grade aircraft model.
- SolidWorks users comfortable with sketches and extrudes who want to model a complete aircraft.
